Jeep Service Schedule

Every month:

• Check oil, windshield washer fluid, brake fluid, and coolant levels
• Check tire pressure
• Check the interior and exterior lights
• When you need your oil changed, the oil filter should be replaced, the tires rotated, and the battery terminals, brake pads, door latches, and exhaust inspected

Every 20,000 miles:

• Inspect the brake linings, front and rear axle fluid, front suspension, tie rod ends, and universal joints
• Replace the air conditioning or cabin air filter

Every 30,000 miles:

• For Jeep vehicles with manual transmission, change the transmission fluid if the vehicle is used for off-roading, snow plowing, towing, or other heavy-duty applications in the Beaverton area
• Inspect the transfer fluid and case fluid
• Replace the engine air cleaner filter

Every 40,000 miles:

• Change the front and rear axle fluid if you regularly use your Jeep for off-roading, towing, snow plowing, or other heavy-duty applications

Every 60,000 miles:

• Change the manual transmission fluid if you use your Jeep for any of the heavier-duty jobs discussed above
• Perform all 20,000- and 30,000-mile tasks
• Replace the spark plugs
• Transfer case fluid if the vehicle is used as a fleet, police, taxi, or towing vehicle

Every 100,000 miles:

• If needed, flush and replace the battery, engine, intercooler, and Motor Generator Unit coolant; if not needed, have this task performed at 150,000 miles
• Inspect and replace the PCV valve
• Perform all 20,000-mile tasks
• Replace the spark plugs
